When traveling to Tulum you need to go thru the Cancun Airport which is about 1:30 hrs from the city of Tulum part of the Riviera Maya.

Tulum might be a little further away from the Cancun Airport than other cities, but is totally worth it. Tulum has some of the most amazing beaches in the Riviera Maya and it has of course the Tulum Ruins you can visit.
