The Waldorf Astoria Cancun is now accepting reservations for stays as of November 1, 2022. The resort will be located along 100 acres of the coast of the Riviera Maya and will be just 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Featuring 150 guest rooms and suites, plus ocean views from all rooms. Accommodations will be a minimum of 675 square feet, with each featuring a plunge pool. Marriott is building a mega-resort. Yes, that’s correct, a mega-resort, if we could call it that. A 1,046  guestroom resort that will include a water park, and a theater. Marriott is already promoting this new property selling travel packages alongside Canadian airline Sunwing. 

Overall, as is the case with most all-inclusive experiences the idea is to keep guests on the property at all times. As mentioned, the Royalton Splash Riviera Maya includes a water park and a theater, but also a bowling alley, unique water attractions, and immersive culinary encounters at a dozen on-property restaurants and nine bars all amidst stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.
