Talking transportation:

Taxis are available at the Airport but their fee is higher than normal due to the location.

We recommend you take private transportation, it is easier and if you let them know, they’ll take you back to the airport right on time.

Nevertheless, BE ON TIME! As mentioned, it is recommended that, for international flights, you get to the airport 3 hours before. Set an alarm and don’t try doing everything, we know it’s hard to resist but we don’t want you to rush, we want you to relax and have a nice experience before you head to your final destination.

Don’t forget to take good care of your belongging, especially your passport and flight tickets. If you’re going to explore the city keep checking your current flight information. As any other Airport, flights might change gates or get delayed. Know which Terminal your flight is schedule for. Terminal 1 is normally for domestic flights, normally from North America; Terminal 2 is used for international and domestic flights, while Terminal 3 and 4 are used for domestic and international flights from North America and Europe.

Enjoy and until next time! We wish your next visit to Cancun and the Riviera Maya lasts longer!
