The low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines just announced five new direct routes to Cancun for 2020. Direct service to the sunny destination will be offered from five new cities in the United States next year. Here’s a rundown of the cities:
- Pittsburgh
- Cleveland
- Austin
- Nashville
- Philadelphia
Spirit’s new routes to Cancun will begin operating in February and March. Customers of Spirit Airlines can already fly to Cancun via Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Baltimore and Houston. Spirit will serve Cancun International Airport with eight flights per day in total once everything is up and running with the newest routes.
“Spirit Airlines is pleased to expand our popular Cancun service with five new non-stops gateways including, Austin, Cleveland, Nashville, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh,” said John Kirby, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning. “Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway with friends or a dream family vacation, Cancun’s premier resorts, crystal blue waters and incredible attractions offer a myriad of vacation opportunities.”
